Why Church Leader Support matters
Helping leaders and churches flourish
At Partners in Ministry, we exist to help leaders and churches be healthy, resilient and flourishing.
Ministry leadership is deeply meaningful — but it can also be complex and isolating. That’s why we walk alongside leaders, offering experienced, trusted support built on confidentiality, trust and collaboration.
-
Listened to and supported
A confidential space to be heard, reflect honestly and explore the realities of your ministry with someone who walks alongside you.
-
Challenged and equipped
Thoughtful questions, fresh perspective and practical support to help you grow in self-awareness and navigate the challenges of leadership.
-
Strengthened to lead
Support to build resilience and lead with greater clarity and confidence, with attention to your soul, role and context.
Our Approach
Support for your soul, role and context
Our approach extends beyond pastoral supervision. Through supervision, coaching, mentoring and spiritual direction, we offer support for the personal, professional and spiritual realities of ministry leadership.
Supervision
AAOS-qualified supervisorsOur pastoral supervisors are certified through the Australasian Association of Supervision (AAOS).
A confidential, reflective space to explore the deeper dynamics of leadership, ministry and calling.
- Build resilience, ethical maturity and self-awareness
- Develop wise, sustainable leadership practices
- Reflect on the intersection of your soul, role and context
Not counselling. Not a performance review. A safe space for reflection and growth.
Coaching
Structured, goal-oriented support to help you work towards specific outcomes in your leadership and ministry.
- Clarify goals and work towards meaningful outcomes
- Navigate the challenges in your current context
- Grow in clarity, confidence and effectiveness
Mentoring
Relational, wisdom-based guidance from experienced leaders who bring encouragement, perspective and insight.
- Receive encouragement and a fresh perspective
- Learn from shared ministry experience and insight
- Grow through a conversational, supportive relationship
Spiritual Direction
A sacred space focused on your relationship with God, making room for prayer, discernment and reflection.
- Reflect prayerfully and practise discernment
- Deepen your awareness of God’s presence
- Explore spiritual formation and its place in everyday life
Together, these four pathways offer holistic support — helping leaders flourish personally, professionally and spiritually.
