Frequently Asked Questions

  • Partners in Ministry’s head office is based in Sydney, Australia. We have Ministry Partners based across Australia and New Zealand who work with churches and church leaders, both in person and online.

  • We understand that financial constraints are a real and ongoing reality for many ministers and churches. Cost should never be the reason someone goes without the support they need.

Partners in Ministry is committed to making our services as accessible as possible. Through the generosity of churches, individuals, and funding partners, we are often able to offer subsidised rates or alternative options for those experiencing financial difficulty.

If finances are a challenge for you or your church, we encourage you to get in touch. Please email us at info@partnersinministry.com so we can have a confidential conversation and explore what support may be available.

  • We’re encouraged by the number of churches and leaders from around the world who reach out to us, and we’re grateful for the work God is doing in many different contexts.

Partners in Ministry is not a funding or sponsorship organisation, and we’re not able to provide financial support or formal partnerships with overseas churches or ministries. Our focus is on supporting church leaders through pastoral supervision, consultancy, and leadership development, primarily within Australia and New Zealand.

While we’re unable to offer financial assistance or overseas partnerships, we pray for and affirm the important work being carried out in many global contexts.

  • Partners in Ministry works with a diverse team of experienced consultants, supervisors, and facilitators — women and men, serving across different life stages, ministry roles, and church traditions.

Where possible, we seek to match you with someone who fits your context, experience, and needs. We recognise that the relationship matters, and that effective support is shaped by trust, understanding, and shared clarity around the work.

If you have preferences or specific considerations, we encourage you to let us know. We’re committed to helping you work with the right person, not just the next available one.

  • Yes. Partners in Ministry works with supervisors who are certified through the Australasian Association of Supervision (AAOS). For leaders whose denomination or organisation requires accredited pastoral supervision, our supervisors meet recognised professional standards and practice within established ethical and professional frameworks.

Pastoral supervision through Partners in Ministry provides a reflective, confidential space that supports both personal wellbeing and ministry effectiveness, while also meeting denominational or organisational requirements where these apply.

If you have specific accreditation or reporting requirements, please let us know and we’ll work with you to ensure the supervision meets those expectations.

  • Yes. We regularly work with larger churches and ministry organisations that want to provide ongoing supervision or coaching for several staff across the year. These arrangements are often structured through what we call Large Church Group Agreements (LCGAs).

An LCGA provides a coordinated, flexible approach to supporting multiple leaders, allowing churches to offer consistent care and development while working with a trusted external partner. We can support a mix of pastoral supervision, coaching, and leadership development, tailored to the size, structure, and rhythms of your staff team.

Group agreements also simplify administration and planning, while ensuring each leader receives appropriate, confidential, one-to-one support.

If your church is considering supervision or coaching for a number of staff, we’re happy to discuss options and design an arrangement that fits your context.
