My Leadership 360
Discover how others experience your leadership
Honest feedback, meaningful insight, and a clear path for growth.
My Leadership 360 helps you understand how others experience your leadership, highlighting your strengths and the areas where you have room to grow.
By comparing your own perspective with feedback from your leadership team, other ministry leaders and your congregation, you can develop greater empathy, confidence and effectiveness as a leader.
- How do you accurately evaluate your leadership impact?
- What is it really like to be led by you?
- Where are the gaps in your leadership that need your focus?
What it measures
Seven areas of leadership and ministry
Our survey was purpose-built for people in ministry. Respondents answer across seven areas, so the picture is rounded rather than narrow.
- 1Wise Living
- 2Ministry
- 3Strategic and Innovative Thinking
- 4Leadership & Teamwork
- 5Operational Management
- 6People Management
- 7Interpersonal Skills
Your results are read against benchmarks from people in ministry, so you can see what is typical in a ministry setting — and what genuinely stands out in your own feedback. Written comments are read alongside the scores to explain the numbers.
Who gives the feedback
Four groups who see you in ministry
You invite the people who know your ministry first-hand, across four groups. Having several voices in each group is what makes the feedback useful — and what keeps individual responses confidential.
Ministry Governors
Those with oversight of your ministry — elders, wardens, mentors, denominational or board leaders.
Team Members
The staff and volunteers who serve alongside you and see your leadership week to week.
Ministry Members
The people you pastor and minister to — congregation members, youth parents, those in your pastoral care.
Peers and Others
People who know you in ministry, including peers and, where appropriate, your spouse.
Four to eight respondents in each group is the ideal. It protects confidentiality and gives a fair picture; fewer than four in a group makes the feedback unreliable. A Corporate / Organisation version is also available for chaplaincy, operations and other staff roles, where feedback comes from managers, peers and direct reports instead. We will recommend the version that fits your role during the briefing.
How it works
About five weeks, start to finish
We administer the survey for you and stay with you through to the debrief, so the process is straightforward from your side.
-
Step 1
Briefing call
We talk through your role, who you will invite, and which version of the survey fits best.
-
Weeks 1–2
Invite your respondents
We give you a ready-to-send invitation email. You send it to your respondents so they know the feedback is coming.
-
Week 3
Add their details
You enter your respondents’ email addresses into the survey portal, which stays open for a week.
-
Weeks 4–5
The survey runs
Respondents complete the confidential online survey — about 30 minutes each. It closes after 10–14 days, including two weekends.
-
After close
Report and debrief
Your report is prepared and your consultant walks you through it in a private debrief, and you leave with priorities to take further.
What you receive
Confidential feedback, and someone to help you read it
$605
per person, inclusive of GST — everything listed below is included.
Every 360 includes:
- A briefing call with a Partners in Ministry consultant
- Administration and analysis of your survey
- A confidential 90-minute feedback session with your consultant
- Your full written report to keep and return to
- Invitation templates and respondent guidance, prepared for you
Most suited to leaders who have been in their role for at least 18 months to three years, where those around you have seen enough of your leadership to give meaningful feedback. If cost is a barrier for you or your church, please get in touch — we would rather talk it through than have you miss out.
How we use it
A development tool, not a performance review
In corporate settings a 360 is often tied to pay, promotion or performance management. We use it differently. My Leadership 360 is a developmental process — a way for people in ministry, who rarely receive structured feedback, to hear honest, collated input about their strengths and their growth areas.
The report belongs to you. You decide what you share, and with whom. Our commitment is always this: the process is for the person.
